Summer Day Camps

At the YMCA, children and youth belong, grow, thrive and lead. In our safe, positive, and encouraging environment, young people learn about teamwork, making choices, social skills, responsibility, ability to take risks and realize personal limits, independence, and finding their place in the world — leading to increased self-esteem, confidence, creativity, self-sufficiency and leadership skills.

Super Summer Day Camp

Campers 5 - 12 years old will be kept active while having fun participating in different activities through out the week.  This camp is based out of the YMCA facility, and includes activities like swimming, gym games, field trips, and outdoor fun at the park. Each week has a different theme for campers to explore!

Counsellor in Training Camp

The Counsellor in Training program provides youth aged 14 – 17 with the knowledge and experience to start their leadership journey. This valuable growth experience for ages 14-17 will be useful to anyone interested in taking a future leadership role on a student council, advancing in a club, or seeking an opportunity in the job market.

Blackstrap Day Camp

Campers 5 - 13 years old are bussed out each day to Blackstrap Lake for a week long outdoor camp experience! Activities including archery, canoeing, kayaking, environmental education, hiking, wall climbing, swimming, water games, and field games keep campers busy each day while still providing the comfort of returning home each night.

Financial Assistance

At the YMCA, no one is turned away for the inability to pay for programs. Financial assistance is available if the registration fee is a barrier to participation. Applying is easy, and all inquiries and applications are treated with the strictest confidence to ensure your privacy. Click for more information.
