How We Keep Children Safe

Keeping children and youth safe is the YMCA’s top priority. We want every child to feel safe at the YMCA, at home, and in the community.

YMCAs across Canada work together to protect all children in our programs. Through the National Child Safety and Protection Initiative, we follow clear rules, staff training, supervision, and safety checks to keep every child safe.
