Take the Guess Work Out of Excercise with YTHRIVE

A YMCA YTHRIVE coach can help you get more out of your workout

Staying active is one of the best things you can do for your health, no matter your age or fitness level. But sometimes, getting started—or knowing what to do next—can feel overwhelming. That’s where YTHRIVE comes in!

Staying Active and Healthy as we Age

Support community impact when you donate online through gifts of stocks and securities to the YMCA.

As we age, maintaining physical activity becomes more important than ever. Staying active keeps us feeling young at heart and improves our overall health and well-being. At the YMCA, we understand that joining a gym is about much more than just fitness—it’s about becoming part of a supportive community where members grow, lead, give back, and shine brighter together.

Stretching is important for balance and muscle control

YMCA Membership information

Stretching allows for greater movement in joints and improves posture as we age. It also helps to release muscle tension and soreness and reduces the risk of injury. Most importantly, it can also help increase circulation and muscle control, and improve balance and coordination.
