Financial Assistance
If your financial circumstances make it difficult for you to access programs and services at the YMCA, you can apply for financial support.
The YMCA of Saskatoon is a charity, and does not turn anyone away for the inability to pay
Financial assistance is available for YMCA memberships, Summer Day Camps, and Before & After School Care programs. To apply, you must complete an application and submit a copy of the previous year’s Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment for yourself and/or your household.
The amount of assistance you receive depends on your household income and family size. For Summer Day Camps, financial assistance can be used for up to two weeks of camp per child.
Please note:
- Applications are valid for the current calendar year.
- You must submit a separate application for each program (Memberships, Camps, or Before & After School Care).
- To continue receiving financial assistance into the new year, you must reapply annually.
If you do not have a Notice of Assessment—for example, if you are new to Canada—other forms of documentation may be accepted, but only with approval from the manager of the program you’re applying for.
