NEW CLASS - Built to Last

A YMCA Health & Wellness Group Class
Thursdays at 12:10 PM | The Studio
Built to Last is a health and wellness class with movement at its core. While every class includes exercise, the focus goes beyond fitness to help you build healthy habits, strength and movement patterns that support your health for years to come.
Based on current scientific principles and validated health practices, Built to Last explores practical strategies for living a healthier, more active life, including:
Building strength and movement patterns that support everyday life
Understanding how the choices we make today can affect how our bodies function as we age
Learning how nutrition and macronutrients help fuel your body and support daily energy
Practicing foundational movements like squats, hinges, lunges, pushes and pulls
Improving balance, mobility, flexibility and joint function
Developing practical habits that support long-term health and independence
No matter your fitness level, you can participate. Every movement and exercise can be scaled or modified, making the class accessible to participants of all backgrounds and abilities.
Built to Last is designed to complement the YMCA’s other noon-hour fitness opportunities. Make it part of your weekly routine alongside noon lane swims on Thursday, Y-Fit Circuit with Rob on Monday, Fit Full-Body with Kris on Wednesday, Pickleball on Tuesday or Thursday, and Spin with Christina on Friday.
Build strength. Move better. Learn what supports your health for the long run.
Build a body that lasts.
