YThrive is a FREE Fitness Coaching Program from The YMCA of Saskatoon
The YThrive program provides members with the support to get started, quick results to stay motivated, and flexibility to get it done solo. It doesn’t matter where you are now with your fitness and health goals, it matters where you’re going.
Whether you’re looking to enhance your athletic performance, lose weight, increase your energy, or reduce your stress, our YMCA fitness experts have designed a program to fit your life.
YThrive is a FREE fitness coaching program for YMCA members that helps improve your health and physical performance. As a valued YMCA of Saskatoon member, you get a new routine every 90 days to keep your routine fresh and your motivation strong.
An exercise program for Members who have little to no experience with formal exercise and are looking to get started on a fitness program. Begin gives you the confidence to start and continue a regular fitness habit. The goal of the Begin program is to graduate to the next level within 90 days.
* Develop Healthy Habits * Learn Resistance Training * Develop Cardiovascular Health *
Members who are looking to improve their basic health or avoid injury or illness. You may be deconditioned, or overweight but have some fitness experience. Balance incorporates resistance and cardio training. The Balance program is 90 days in duration with new exercises released at 30 and 60 days.
* Improve Health and General Wellbeing * * Increase Activity Level *
This stream targets Members who want to increase their fitness and health outcomes and have a current base of fitness. This is an intermediate-to-advanced program that will challenge Member’s strength and endurance. The Boost program is 90 days in duration with new exercises released at 30 and 60 days.
* Increase Fitness Levels with More Challenging Workouts * * Increase Fitness, Lose Weight and Get Stronger *
Flex is a strength training program that helps YMCA Members get stronger and/or add muscle. This program has no cardio component. YThrive Flex is for a confident exerciser looking to push the limits and maximize strength. The Flex program is 90 days in duration with new exercises released at 30 and 60 days.

YThrive Grow for Kids and Youth 10+
Our Grow program is for 10 to 12-year-olds (strongly recommended before using the YMCA Fitness Centre) and 13 to 15-year-olds as a good starting point for future fitness programs. The YThrive Grow program is 90 days in duration with a new routine released every 90 days.

YThrive Fitness Coaching routines support your YMCA Fitness Experience and can be completed in 50 minutes or less. With every YThrive program, members will receive a printable workout plan and video, guided by a YMCA-certified coach.
